Prelude

He floated in the lifestream, and yet he was not at peace. Something was out there, summoning him. Even here, even after his death, there was still something wrong. The planet was calling him back. And he wanted to take her with him. The only one he’d ever loved the only one worthy of loving him.

The other one, the quiet one, spent her time in the lifestream watching them grow in love and grow together. It was a strange thing, that he was so different around her.

But she knew the planet was calling him back. The planet needed help, once more, and the planet wanted him to help her. The planet was willing to give him a second chance – a chance to change, to make up for past mistakes.
